Renaming files and folders is the most common troubleshooting solution for many web hosting issues. DirectAdmin users can easily rename their files/folders with the File Manager application.
1. Log in to your DirectAdmin account.
2. Go to System Info & Files section and click on File Manager.
The File Manager application will open in the new tab.
To Rename the Folders
1. Right-click on the folder and select the Rename option from the context menu.
2. Enter the new name in the Name text field and click on RENAME.
The file manager will change the name of the folder to the new one.
To Rename the Files
1. Right-click on the file and select the Rename option from the context menu.
2. Enter the new name in the Name text field and click on RENAME.
The file manager will change the name of the file to the new one.
