Step 1 : Exporting Your Data From Shopify

Step 2 : Importing Your Data In WooCommerce
Now that you have all the store data from Shopify, you will have to get all the data imported in your WooCommerce store. If you have to import a large number of CSV files, you will have to map every field in the CSV for every part of the product import like for product title and for product SKU. For importing a CSV file, you will have to go to WooCommerce >> then to Products and then select the option – ‘Import’. Alternative To This Step : Using WP All Import Plugin
Manually mapping all the files for all the CSV imports can be a complicated and a time consuming task. However, you don’t have to do this if you use of a plugin. The WP All Import plugin consists of addon plugins for the users and WooCommerce. The WooCommerce addon of this plugin will enable you to easily import the products, orders and the user’s addon of this plugin will enable you to import the customer’s data.
You will have to install the WP All Import plugin for proceeding further. For simplifying the entire process, this plugin enables you to create templates. As we are showing the process of importing products in this article, it is important to create a template to map all the product fields for the complete product import.
For importing the products through this template, you have to save the template as a TXT file first. Open the plugin and go to – All Import >> Settings. In the section – ‘Import/Export Templates’, select the text file of the template and import it.
In order to import your product CSV export from Shopify thought the WP All Import plugin, Go to All Import >> New Import. Select the particular CSV file, then select the ‘New Items’ and then select the ‘WooCommerce products type’.
Confirm the number of rows for importing and then proceed to the next step.
Go to the bottom of the page and click on ‘load Template’. Select the Shopify product template. This denotes that all the files present tin the CSV are mapped correctly so that the products can be imported in WooCommerce. You can continue this process and all the products that were exported form Shopify will be imported in WooCommerce.
The images used on the store of Shopify can be imported in the media library of the store and then they can be mapped to products. In this way the products will have the correct data and images. It is also possible to export all the customer data and orders through Shopify as CSV files. Customer data can be imported to the new WooCommerce website through the WP All Import Pro plugin and with the user’s addon of this plugin. Similarly, the orders can be imported as well.
This only covers the retrieval of the information from Shopify and then importing this information to WooCommerce. You cannot use the exact theme used on the Shopify store for the WooCommerce store but you can try replicating the look with a wide range of themes available with WooCommerce.
