The steps for creating a cPanel account inside WHM are mentioned below:
- Login to WHM.
- Click on the ‘List Accounts’ option on the left side menu and in this section click on ‘Create a New Account.’
- You need to enter the necessary details on the next page.
- Enter the main domain name (Primary domain name) for the cPanel account.
- Enter the username and password.
- Enter the email address.
Package
WHM enables you to create a package so that it is easy to manage the cPanel accents. Select the package from this section.
Settings
In this section, you need to select the theme of the cPanel account that has to be assigned to the user and also select the appropriate language for the user.
Mail Routing Settings
Select the type of mail server that you want to assign to this account or you can select the recommended option – Automatically Detect Configuration.
DNS Settings
You can configure the nameservers of the domain on the server according to your preference. In case the nameservers of the domain name are on some other server, you need to select the option – Use nameservers specified at the Domain’s Registrar.
Once you have filled all the required information, click on ‘Create’ and the cPanel package will be created.
