This is because your server cannot resolve the repositories and perform the update. What you need to do is check the resolvers set on the server. Check for the file /etc/resolv.conf. See if the resolvers are correct and can be connected. Else, update the free resolvers. Example is as below.

nameserver 4.4.4.4
