This year couldn’t have been better. Back-to-back events! Omg, yet we made it there with absolute zeal. And, here’s sharing an experience from a recent one.
The “Cultural Capital of India,” Kolkata recently got shaken up with WordPress people. Yes, “WordCamp Kolkata” was held on the 17th & 18th of December 2022.
Best of all, MilesWeb being the “Titanium” sponsor at this biggest WordPress community event. Made a lot of great stories there, learned new things and met passionate people.
Everything happened to be very remarkable and so, without pulling it too long, we’ll share highlights of the same in this blog.

Made it to WordCamp Kolkata 2022!
We started off for Kolkata and were all set to rock at the WordCamp Kolkata. The early morning flights, mesmerizing views, winter colds, ohh a journey to remember forever.
We reached the venue, in the vibrant city of Kolkata @ Hotel Altair on 17th December 2022. The destination was really worth it. There was a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
Yes, and we were super-happy to see so many WordPress fanatics, business professionals, attendees, fellow sponsors, and attendees around. The entire place was buzzing!
The Day 1:
So, the first day of WordCamp is called Contributors day. It’s a day-long event dedicated to giving back to WordPress. Community members gather together to contribute to the open-source project, regardless of their experience and skills. Yes, Contributors day is for everyone!
Beyond just contributing to WordPress, this day lets you make new friends within the community.
The Day 2
Starting our morning with new energy and all prepped for the big and last day of the WordCamp Kolkata. Well, not putting down the entire agenda here.
But to tell you, this was the most insightful day. There were sessions from experienced speakers and WordPress experts, panel discussions and so much more. Also, we got a chance to participate in different group activities. In short we learned, along with having fun!
To mention a few, there were sessions from speakers on different topics like:
- Work, Life and WordPress
- Improving Core Web Vitals for WordPress Websites
- WordPress Firewalls-The Most Important Protection For Your Website
Our beloved founder, Chinmay Sir, spoke on “How to Improve WordPress Performance.” We were glad to see him speaking on the big stage.
Now comes the best of all!
Our Booth at WordCamp
“Just amazing” is what we can say about the booth experience. The response was more than what we expected. There has literally been a buzz at our booth ever since we arrived. Apart from just WordPressers everywhere, we met many potentials as well as some existing clients as well.
It really feels motivational and rewarding to hear people’s positive feedback about what we do. Also, we introduced our new WordPress hosting on cloud partners like AWS, Digital Ocean, Linode & Vultr.
We also arranged a contest, wherein the attendees actively participated. We even distributed superb Swags, which everyone loved a lot.
Ending the Day! At last, momentos were given to those who participated in the panel discussion. Indeed, the event ended on a good note.
